Transportation unit. Reinforcing a strategy announced last year to
expand its underwriting appetite and identify new industry
specializations to best meet the needs of CNA Select Risk customers, the
Transportation unit features a newly-created Center of Excellence in
Atlanta and a focus on innovatively writing new types of risks.
The Center of Excellence houses all transportation experts in one
location, enabling the Transportation unit to maximize efficiencies and
feature one point of contact for its distribution partners. The unit has
also added five new, experienced transportation underwriters who each
bring unique relationships and underwriting acumen to the team.
In addition, the unit is working to meet the needs of its distribution
partners and clients by continuing to focus on a range of related risk

business, which covers short haul trucking between ports and other

fleet limousine business countrywide.
